PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Things to know before order:

1. When ordering, send us email at info@mercylion.com to tell the vehicle model and year, and pictures of your Bentley vehicle rain sensor housing, or pay attention to your email, our customer service will send you an email to confirm. Otherwise, it will be a delayed shipment, thank you for your understanding!

2. We also accept to confirm the correct dashcam model for you before you order, just send us the vehicle model, year, and rear-view mirror casing pictures, and we will send you the correct URL to order.

3. For all integrated dashcam models, 2 types of power cords are provided by default in the package. Plug and play Y shape cable( connect to rain sensor place) and Free OBD plug-and-play cable for back. You can choose one according to your preference.

4. Wiring-free power supply(plug-and-play cable connection). Some car models do not support parking monitoring. If you need the parking monitoring function, please use the fuse box power cord for the power supply. Fuse box power cord need to buy extra.

Can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 65℃. It could prevent the risks of overheating and ensure the life duration as well as the reliability of the dash camera.

Built in microphone and speaker to capture high quality audio clear without distortion. Don't want to record voice? One press to turn microphone off.

Wide angle of both front and rear cameras helps you capture more details in the events.

What is in the Box

Q: What should I do if the dashcam casing is not suitable for my car after I receive and install it?

A: Contact Mercy Lion's customer services, after we checked it is indeed true that after the customer provided the correct car model, model year, and pictures of the car rearview mirror housing from different angles, the dashcam housing we sent to the customer is still not suitable for installation. Our handling method is as follows:

1. Reconfirm again and re-send the correct dashcam casing to the customer

2. Since the casings of individual models vary from different countries if after re-confirm we do not have a suitable casing, we will give the customer a full refund

Our after-sales service is guaranteed, free of concern to shop on Mercylion shop.

If the dash cam housing you receive doesn't fit your vehicle, simply contact our customer support team and provide:

Once we verify the information, we will:

Q03:🛠️What should I do if the vehicle-specific Y-harness I received is incompatible?

The Y-cable is the preferred power connection for the dash cam. Before installation, please ensure that you have identified the correct power connector in your vehicle.

If the supplied Y-cable is not compatible, you can temporarily power the dash cam using the included OBD power cable.

At the same time, please contact Mercylion Customer Support with your vehicle model, model year, and photos of the connector. We'll verify the information and, if necessary, send you the correct Y-cable free of charge.

Q04:🎥Does it have a rear camera? Can I add one later?

Yes! We offer both front-only and front + rear options. 👋
📹 Rear cam records in 2K and runs a cable to the back window.
⚠️ Please note that if you choose the front-only model now, you won't be able to add a rear camera later because the hardware is different (different PCB design).

Q05:📶I can't find the camera's WiFi

With the camera turned off, remove the SD card and restart the camera to see if it can find WiFi. If the device's Wi-Fi still cannot be found, press and hold the camera button for 15 seconds to restore the device to factory settings.

Q06:📶WIFI connection failed

⏱️Please wait 1 minute after turning on the dashcam before attempting to connect to Wi-Fi.

📱The app prompt 'connected without internet' is a normal condition, because the dashcam wifi couldn't connect to the internet, it only supports connecting the dashcam app. At this time, there will usually be a prompt option for the user to choose whether to use this network, choose WLAN option to continue.

Q07:📲Can I remotely view my dashcam footage via APP?

Currently, our dash cam does not support remote video viewing via APP.

Q08:📱When connected to the Mercylion network the car's Carplay do NOT work.

Your phone is unable to connect to both CarPlay and the dash cam WiFi at once.

Q09:🕶️Can I install a polarizing filter on my dashcam?

Mercylion dashcams do not support anti-glare polarizing filters, and we do not recommend installing them.
From an optical perspective, polarizing filters require manual angle adjustment according to ambient light conditions to achieve effective anti-glare results. Without proper adjustment, they may produce the opposite effect and degrade recording quality.

Q10:🔋Do you have battery for parking mode or power supply for rain detector supplies power when car engine is off?

⚡Normally, a standard dash cam will stop working once the car engine is turned off. However, some models support parking mode and can keep recording while the vehicle is parked.
🔌Whether it continues to operate depends mainly on how it is wired. If connected to the car’s constant power supply, the dash cam can stay on and provide 24-hour surveillance. If connected to ACC power, it will shut off automatically when the engine is off.

🔋We currently do not offer a separate battery pack for parking monitoring. The parking mode function works by connecting the dashcam directly to the vehicle's power supply using either an OBD cable or a fuse box hardwire cable.

📦Our package includes an extra OBD cable for parking monitoring. If you are familiar with professional hardwire installation, please contact our customer service team before shipment, and we can change the default OBD cable in your order to a fuse box power cable.
