Generally, when purchasing a car camcorder, you will be provided with instructions and installation tutorials. If the car owner has a professional ability, he can install the DASH CAM according to the installation tutorial. Of course, he can also go to the 4S shop or the car repair shop to ask a master to help him install the DASH CAM.

Installation steps of rearview mirror dash cam. Take Mercylion M9661 streaming media dash cam installation as an example below:
1. Install the front cam
First, we take out the host and clip in one side of the strap to facilitate our next fixation.
Stretch the front view camera as far as possible.
Install the rear view mirror dash cam, which is usually fixed on the interior rearview mirror of the car.
During installation, you need to adjust the most appropriate viewing angle. After adjustment, you can fix the installation.
2. Wire Routing
Use a crowbar to pry open the housing on the passenger side
Open the lower base plate
Take out the power cord from the accessory bag of the dash cam
The power cord will pass through here
Plug the power cord into the power interface of the recorder, and connect the wire of the rear camera.
Use a crowbar to hide the connecting wire above the windshield.
The power cord runs down the A pillar of the car, and the rear camera cable runs toward the rear seat

The wiring in the trunk is also installed along the direction of the sealant strip.

En général, sur la plupart des dash cams à caméra de recul, le fil rouge de la connexion arrière est le fil de déclenchement de la marche arrière. Il doit être branché sur le fil positif (+) de la lumière de recul de votre véhicule.
Son rôle : quand vous passez la marche arrière, la lumière de recul s’allume et envoie un signal à l’écran pour basculer automatiquement sur l’affichage de la caméra arrière.
Branchement : reliez ce fil rouge au fil positif de la lampe de recul, à l’arrière du véhicule. Si le fil n’est pas branché, l’écran ne basculera pas automatiquement en marche arrière (certaines caméras permettent aussi de passer manuellement en mode caméra arrière).
