2. Remove The Original Housing:

The original casing is divided into two parts a front and a rear casing which are two separate parts connected on one frame. Use the Pry tool that comes with the G52 dashcam kit and open the front casing first. After the front casing is removed the rear casing easily slides out without any tools.

3. Connecting The Dash Cam:

After removing all the housing you will finally be able to see the rain sensor cable. The cable we are looking to remove is the rain sensor cable and it is connected to the top port on the metal holder. You only have to remove the topmost cable from the port which is closer to the window, you can refer to the image below to understand more as to what cable is to be removed. carefully remove it from the port using the Pry tool that comes with the Mercylion G52 dashcam kit.

Locate the plug-and-play Y-shaped cable included in the Mercylion G52 dash cam kit. This cable is essential for ensuring both the dash cam and rain sensor function correctly. Start by inserting the Y-shaped cable's male connector into the rain sensor's slot, which you previously disconnected. Next, take the male connector from the rain sensor and plug it into the female end of the Y-shaped cable. This ensures the rain sensor remains fully operational while integrating the dash cam into the vehicle’s system.

After the rain sensor has been connected using the Y-shaped plug-and-play cable, take out the Mercylion G52 dashcam from the box and connect the dashcam’s red and yellow cable at the end of the Y-shaped cable. Note the white interface is not to be used anywhere is it for the factory tests only.
