Then, remove the larger cover along the arrow direction to expose the internal components.

Step 2: Disconnecting the original car able and Connecting Dashcam Cables

Locate the white plug and unplug it. Take out the Y cable in the  mercylion hidden dashcam package, as shown in the provided picture, and connect it to the white plug.

Next, connect the other end of the Y cable to the dashcam power cable.

Step 3: Connecting the Front and Rear Cameras

If you bought a 2-way recorder, you will see a cable with a circular port on the front camera, which is the cable used to connect the rear camera, we need to connect the extension cable first, and then the rear camera. Inside the box you can also see an extension cable of about 5 meters for the logger, also with a round port. After connecting the front camera cable with the extension cable, tear off the protective film of the lens, then we fix the front camera at the position behind the rearview mirror and install it. Remember to put the extension cable aside for later use to connect the rear camera

Step 4: Routing the Rear Camera Extension Cable

Carefully route the rear camera extension cable along the roof of your Mercedes C260. Ensure that it is securely placed and does not interfere with any other components. Take your time to achieve a clean and hidden installation.
